how our sizes work
Children of the same age are not the same size. Measure the child, then read across — the European number is the height it is cut for.

measure the child, not the year
Stand them against a wall, heels down, and mark the top of the head. EU 98 is cut for a child about 98 cm tall — so a tall three-year-old and a small four-year-old take the same size.
how we measure the garment
Every piece is laid flat on a table and measured by hand. Length runs from the shoulder seam to the hem. Width is across the chest, not around it — so double it to compare with a tape measure round the body.
a year of growing room
Every piece is cut with room to grow into. Between two sizes, take the larger — the seams are reinforced to survive the year in between, and the piece is meant to be handed down after it.
Each product page carries its own measurements, taken from that garment. Where a size has not been measured yet it is shown as a dash rather than guessed at.
